When flora goes to seed
Florrible is a collection of flowers, plants, and the like being horrible and over the top.
Stef got the idea for this series when reviewing photos she’d taken when tromping through a forest of fallen redwoods in southern Oregon. She didn’t know what to do with the less interesting images, yet it seemed a shame to just delete them. (Stef doesn’t like to get rid of anything she creates!) Her solution: Turn them into single-panel photo comics and give them silly things to say.
Ultimately, Stef decided to apply this methodology to other flower/nature photos she took. Adding speech bubbles featuring rude, ridiculous text is how she differentiates her flower photos from all the other nature photography that’s out there. After all, there’s just something about a delicate flower announcing it needs to use the toilet.

These flowers seem to have an emotionally complex history together 
But Poseidon doesn’t have time for haters 
Not calling to check in, that’s so Jerry 
Even red roses get blue 
Shut ya tulips 
You know? 
Get the heating pad and make it snappy 
It’s healthy to have goals 
Oh, tree, that joke is so old 
Time for a week-long juice cleanse 
…Anyone? 
And without the fun of having been at the beach too 
Yes we know 
Only organic for me thnx 
Well now that’s just cruel 
This flower clearly has a bug up its butt 
I’m sure it’s the butt of many jokes 
You said it buddy
